CRISTINA CARRETO
Director, HSI-STEM (METAS)
Cristina is a born and raised Chicagoan. She grew up in Little Village and attended Farragut Career Academy and UIC. She has dedicated her career to education. Before joining the MXC family, Cristina worked serving families in Pilsen and Little Village, by empowering them and creating ecosystems of support. She hopes to create the same opportunities and supports for the students of MXC.
AKIZA BODDIE-WILLIS
Director, DOD-STEM
Akiza is originally from the Chicago area. After graduating from Oak Park and River Forest High School, she earned bachelor's and master's degrees in engineering from Cornell University and Rutgers University respectively. She served as a College Advisor at Malcolm X College for over 15 years. Her educational and professional experiences have provided her with a wealth of knowledge and have inspired her to continue to support students in setting and reaching their future goals.
